A Word of Wisdom From Brother Jack In Prison

Jack, or was it Butch?  I can’t remember, but one of the brothers in prison once said to me regarding struggles and trials, etc., something along the lines of “Yeah… Well Jericho had walls too!”

WOW

How’s that for encouragement!

My thoughts in the Torah notes regarding Exodus 15:25 where Mosheh is shown a tree is that it reminded me of when Hagar was shown a well in Genesis 21:19.  Apparently the tree was there, but he had to be shown it.  But then I read from brother Jack in Prison – His notes were as follows:

“Also [name removed], there was a part of the reading this week in Shemoth 15:22-26.  In verse 23 when he said they were unable to drink of the waters of Marah for they were bitter, He never really makes it clear if they were unable to drink because the water was bitter or because the people were bitter, But as always I want to say that I am not saying this is a fact, I just want to point out a lesson I learned in this.  I remember sitting in a previous service and myself being bitter.  I didn’t know Yahshua and because of my bitterness I could not drink of the water he offered (verse 25).

Then I cried out to YHWH and YHWH showed me a tree, His son had died and Rose from, He made the water living water.  What I keep seeing is such a beautiful picture of the stake and how we are healed by Yahshua.  Do you have a take on this?  Just a thought Achi.” As I read what Jack wrote again, but for the first time on a Sabbath morning gathering, I can’t help but admit that I got emotional just from reading that.  Amazing.  HalleluYah!  Praise be to YHWH for all He provides and for sending YHWSHUA!
