Can a man see Elohiym and live?
Answer From The Annual Reading Schedule - Week 20 Notes For Exodus: Definitely not His face, that is for sure (Exodus 33:20). However, that is in the context of living in flesh and blood bodies. We can see that when we are in our spiritual bodies that are incorruptible and when we have inherited the Kingdom of Elohiym, that we do see his face and live (Revelation 22:4); that is unless of course Revelation 22:4 is referring to seeing the face of the Lamb – that is another possible understanding of that verse. The reason why this is possible in the future in Revelation 22:4 may be because we will be in spiritual bodies and not flesh and blood bodies, and we will be unable to die. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Elohiym (1 Corinthians 15:50).
