The New Moon was not sighted last night on 7/16/2015. Today, 7/17/2015, is the 30th day of the 4th month, so tonight on 7/17/2015 going into tomorrow 7/18/2015 starts the 1st day of the 5th month by default since there can only be 30 days in a Biblical month. We’re expecting multiple people to sight the New Moon but I will not be posting those sightings because I will be having a much needed Shabbat snooze tonight, but you can tune into the EliYah.com New Moon broadcast tonight @ 10 PM EST to hear sightings reported.
