Normally I post a blog post before this about the barley conditions and linking to barley reports, etc. from other sources. However, this year I am swamped/busy and never got around to that – my apologies. But my personal convictions are that this is the first month of HaAviyv and my belief is if Barley were grown / growing as it were in ancient times, the barley would be ready in time for the Wave Omer offering if we consider this the first month of the Year.
