Brother Bryant read a good word from a ministry. I’m going to re-word it in my own way. They said Yom Teruah (Day of Alarm/Shouting) is supposed to make you STOP! Day of The Atonements (Yom HaKippuriym) is the time to focus on how we need to REPENT! Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkahs) is the time that we REJOICE! Stop! Repent! Rejoice!
They said the amount you rejoice is only in as much as you repent.
They also said: Do you want to repent? You got to stop.
