Rosh Chodesh Sameach! Blow the shofar! The New Moon was sighted!
I’m not really sure if we should call this Adar Bet (Adar 2) or just the 13th month… but in any event here we are! The 29th day was yesterday, and last night nobody saw the New Moon so technically tonight was the New Moon by default since Biblical months can only have 30 days. Tonight, therefore, would start the 13th month of YHWH’s calendar regardless if a sighting came in (by USA sighting that is). However, we did have the following New Moon reports:

You may be wondering where in the Bible it talks about a 13th month. If you examine Ezekiel 1:1-3, 4:4-8, & 8:1 you’ll find out the only way to lay on his side 390 + 40 days and then be SITTING (not laying) in chapter 8 is if that year where he layed down had a 13th month. Easier to explain with a video or Excel file, but that’s the short version of the explanation on proving there IS a 13th month (some years – not every year) from the Scriptural/Biblical calendar!
