Everything in life is – Yahweh willing. We never know each day if we will live or die. That’s why we need to be focused on eternity, because our time here is short. We need to be thankful for the life we have and all that Yahweh has done for us. Yahweh willing, we will live through this time and make it through.
James 4:13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow, let us go to such and such a city, spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit,”
14 when you do not know of tomorrow. For what is your life? For it is a vapour that appears for a little, and then disappears –
15 instead of your saying, “If the Boss desires, we shall live and do this or that.”
16 But now you boast in your proud speeches. All such boasting is wicked.
17 To him, then, who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
So we need to remain humble, and be thankful for life, and focus on being ready for when we die so that we will be in Yahweh’s kingdom.
Yahweh willing, we will live through all of this, and Yahweh willing, the answer to this question for me is that I want to get a cat! Maybe I’ll change my mind. But I was hoping to maybe get a cat and name it Nibbles. Then I thought, well what if I got a Pug one day, and I could name it Wobbles. But then I thought, well what if I get another cat, but a really big fat one, a Maine Coon, and I could name that one Gobbles. Nibbles, Wobbles, and Gobbles. 🙂
OK maybe not all three, but maybe just Nibbles would be good.
