REASONS FOR THE VERIFICATION OF BELIEFS

You'll notice this website does not have a "Statement of Beliefs" page anywhere because we just believe in all of the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation and don't feel such a page is necessary. The Verification of Beliefs page should not be mis-construed as a Statement of Beliefs page, because that's not what it is. The Verification of Beliefs page is a result of potential threats we detected at our gatherings, which we feel has left us with no choice but to implement the additional verification page before entering some of the gatherings we host in order to protect others and decrease stress by avoiding confrontations or strife on set-apart days.

These gatherings are meant to be safe, family friendly places for believers. By safe, that means we strive to see to it that nobody, especially young persons and children, should be exposed to doctrines which are dangerous.

Among brothers and sisters, it is normal and expected we will have differences of opinion and views on Scriptures sometimes. However, some doctrines are just too dangerous to permit to spread to others and that has led to implementing this verification of beliefs. We cannot, in good conscience, permit those who firmly hold to extremely dangerous doctrines to be in these gatherings because of their potential influence over others. We feel this is part of our duty to protect the flock.

Belief #8 is about Christians and people who use the name Jesus. It should be obvious by the studies on this website that WillYouLoveHim Ministries (this ministry) supports and believes in using the correct names for the Father Yahweh and His Son Yahushua. However, some people who use the name Yahweh try to teach that all Christians or people who use the name Jesus have not yet been forgiven of their sins, regardless of how they live their life or if they've repented to the best of their ability, etc.. We do NOT agree with that view.

We do not want people who have an agenda against Christians at our gatherings because we believe they could cause stumbling to others. This is why the belief about Christians and people who use the name Jesus is listed.

Please do not misunderstand us: We are not supporting the use of the name Jesus because we believe that would be incorrect to do. However, we also will not support beliefs condemning all Christians or people using the name Jesus as if the Heavenly Father doesn't extend mercy. Yahweh can extend mercy to whomever He chooses through the blood of His Son Yahushua.

The goal of WillYouLoveHim Ministries and this website as it relates to Christians (and Catholics or others who still use the name "Jesus") is to assist, help, and minister to them. If we have people coming to our gatherings who think they're somehow superior to anyone who calls theirself a Christian and are ready at any given moment to bash Christians or make accusations against them without even learning who they are or how they live their life, those kinds of people will hinder our efforts to minister to Christians effectively. We're not here to condemn Christians - we're here to minister to them.

Not only that, but the view of WillYouLoveHim Ministries and this website as it relates to the word "Christian" is that this word is no different than saying "Messianic". The words "Mashiach", "Messiah", "Christos", and "Christ" all have the same meaning - "Anointed". Saying someone is "Messianic" is like saying someone is, "A follower of the Messiah." Saying someone is "Christian" is like saying someone is, "A follower of Christ." Since the words "Messiah" and "Christ" mean the same thing but just originate from different languages, we don't view the meaning of "Messianic" or "Christian" to be different from each other either. Others in our faith may disagree, but that's our view.
