Prayers For Prisoners

MAKE PRAYER YOUR FIRST PRIORITY, NOT YOUR LAST RESORT.

It is important to pray for everyone, but prisoners don't have access to text, phone, email etc. so this is my way of helping them get their prayer requests heard by other brothers and sisters in the faith. I know that these prisoners I write pray for me a lot, probably some of them daily, and I greatly appreciate that and want to keep them more often in my prayers as well. Please keep them in your prayers.

If you feel so led to write any of these brothers, those who I feel comfortable posting their address and have given me permission are posted below. Please consider writing them and praying for them. You can write them through regular postal mail or through an online prison contact system. The prisoners, however, need an address to write you back because the communication sent online is printed out for them and they have no computer access. Leo Love	Pray for 67 year old brother Leo Love in prison for healing for his foot and back which swells up and he can't walk and is in a wheelchair. He also said he has a ruptured disc in his back. Also pray for his brother James and sister Mary also for their health and salvation.
Jesus Avila	Jesus requests prayers for 1) his mother Maria Avila (who is 83 y.o. as of 3/16/2020) for her health.
Marshall Mashburn	Marshall Mashburn requests prayer that יהוה's will be done for him to make parole and be relased sooner to be a father to his children.
Edward A. G.	Edward requests prayer for 1) Reconciliatoin with his wife Natalia, 2) For judges that read his 11.07 legal paperwork to be compassionate regarding the laws and allow him to come home sooner rather than later, 3) A hedge of protection around his family and that their hearts and minds be opened to יהוה's ways and reverence him, and 4) For the unit Edward is in that there would be more volunteers, and 5) For יהוה to move in a miraculous way for all of יהוה's true worshippers to come together to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Armando Chavez Zapata	Armando (who is 60 as of 2019) requests prayer for his son James David Zapata (he is a Sherrif Deputy Police Officer), Armando's oldest daughter Amanda Carol and her husband and four children, Armando's younger daughter Kimberly Anne, and Armando's wife Carol Anne that all of these family members of his would have a hedge of protection upon them (especially James the police officer) and emotional healing and to come to the understanding of keeping Sabbath (they are all 1st-Day Keeping Christians). Also for his daughter Kimberly’s husband Joshua Dunbar to overcome alcohol and drug addiction, believe repent and be immersed in the name of יהושע and stay out of prison. Armando also requests prayer for 1) Amanda his daughter (33 in 2020) & Jeremy Whitley his son-in-law's peace, forgiveness, & healing for their marriage, for their children, Armando's grandchildren - daughter Brooklyn Mae (age 12 in 2020), son Chance (age 5 in 2020), healing for Amanda's back and neck after being hit by an 18-wheeler around 2017, for Armando's daughter Kimberly Anne Zapata to have the financial help she needs, strength, to do well and finish her college education, 2) for Kimberly's children (Armando's grandchildren) Savanna (age 12 in 2020), Aliza (age 4 in 2020), 3) for Armando's wife of 34 years (as of 2020) Carol Anne Zapata to have strength and healing as it's hard for her to be alone when he's locked up, 4) for other family members: sister-in-law's Erlene Dorsett & Wanda Jean Yaws, Robert, David Yaws, Carol Renee Yaws, David Lee Yaws, the Zapata family in Mexico & Houston TX, importantly--Armando's mother Maria Chavez Vivda De Zapata (80 years old in 2020), and 5) for the Hernandez & Sanchez families.
Ricky Martinez Gonzales	Ricky requests prayer for 1) his mother Susie who has a little bit of a sickness including diabetes and high blood pressure and also for healing, safety, and recovery from an upcoming surgery in 02/2020 on her legs, ear, and head and 2) Ricky's sister BB that Yahweh would touch her in a spiritual way - BB has grandchildren she is helping to raise - that Yahweh would give BB strength.
Martin Monroe Marty Metcalf	Martin is a 64 year old brother (as of end of 2019) in prison with many ailments and diseases including cellulitis, vertigo, carpal tunnel, COPD, and moves around in a rollator which is a medical chair with medical devices on it. He takes water pills, blood pressure pills, has had lots of surgeries and in and out of the prison hospital all the time. Pray for him to be calm and at rest in Yahweh and be healed of these physical ailments, relieved of his afflictions, and released. His mother passed a few years ago and he only has one brother remaining. He needs mercy and healing. I think he also said he's had a stroke before too.
Juan Briseno	Juan requests prayer for 1) his daughter Cerla in Mexico who is 16 (as of 12/2018) and her husband to believe, repent, and be immersed in the Name of יהושע & for their safety, 2) for his other daughters Rubi and Berla (who are twins and almost 19 in 03/2020) to believe, repent, and be immersed in the Name of יהושע, to contact him to know they are ok (they haven't contacted him for a long time), to be safe and have a hedge of protection around them also.
Daniel H.	Daniel writes saying that they have a group in his unit of 50-60 men and it is growing and praises יהוה for that and requests prayers for 1) for the men in there in general and for them to have a love for the truth (2 Thes. 2), 2) that their minds would be opened to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24), 3) for the approximately 100 people Daniel is working with to share the truth who are at various places in their walk that they would have ears and eyes to hear and see, and 4) for his mother, sister, and daughter as he tries to share the truth with them.
Willard Adkins	Willard requests prayer for 1) that יהוה would give Willard a complete healing in his body from chronic dry eyes, diabetes, high blood pressure, and nerve damage in his feet, 2) that יהוה would give Willard more wisdom and a better understanding of His word, 3) that יהוה would give Willard the courage and wisdom to obey, and 4) overall for his health and finances.
Cynthia (Cindy) Wallace	Sister Cynthia (Cindy) Wallace in prison in KY wants prayer made for her Dad Leonard Weiss. Her dad Leonard has cancer which is in and out. He continues to get small melanomas. They catch them and remove them and then do chemo. Soon he will be 90. I don't know his beliefs so pray for his salvation too just in case since I don't know anything about that.
Raul Tamez	Raul requests prayers for his aunt Tina and his grandmother who he hasn't heard from for more than a week as of 11/16/2018. He doesn't know if they're sick. Pray יהוה's keeping his protection over them.
George McAllister	George requests prayers for 1) that they be able to have more volunteers to come in so that they have more time for them to have deeper studies into the Word on Sabbaths and feast days, etc. and at other times, 2) for the men in prison there (there are more than 30 brothers in his unit) on their own private time to pray and study more in the Word so they would grow because once they start praying and studying more they will receive more of the blessings of the Father so they can grow, and once they grow they can put a lot of the things away from them that they are doing which got them in there, so they can go back home and be the sons and fathers and husbands they want and need to be, 3) a special prayer for George since he is the coordinator for the brothers in prison and feels a lot of responsibility in being the coordinator to handle interpersonal struggles and communications between brothers and the Chaplain with grace and gentleness, and 4) for George's mom who is now blind in both eyes and in the hospital and has no relatives nearby and might be put in a nursing home due to the children being far away from where she is - pray for one of her children to take her into their home instead and have home-care for her or if she ends up in a nursing home that they treat her right, and pray for her belief, repentance, and baptism in the Name of יהושע if she hasn't yet done that (I don't know her spiritual condition).
Mirrion Foster	Mirrion requests prayers for him to grow stronger in spirit and understanding and knowledge of the truth and for baptism/immersion in the true name soon also and also to not have anxiety (especially at night).
Pablo Uvalle	Pablo requests prayers for 1) for Pablo to be healed of sleep apnea, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol and have improved health, 2) for Pablo to have strength as he struggles being in prison without a wife and asked prayers that he would live a set-apart, pure life before יהוה and His Son, and that Elohiym will bless him with a wife, 3) for Pablo's biological brothers Juan and Gabriel who need prayer to be drawn to the Father and out of alcoholism, drugs, or anything else they are in, 4) for Pablo's daughter Anna to recover from a sexual assault she experienced and have her heart turned away from homosexuality, and 5) for his neice Ashli Tailor to have her relationship with her Dad restored and for her to believe, repent, and be immersed in the Name of יהושע.
Christopher Johnson	Christopher requests prayers for 1) his mother to get off drugs and not be homeless, 2) his sister Rozalyn to be healed of kidney disease/kidney failure and for her salvation, 3) his grandmother to be healed of the flu and have strength, 4) the safety of all the brothers in prison during the lockdowns that happen (lockdown is when the cells get searched, the prisoners are in a different location, they don't get their normal meals, and sometimes they lose their things in that process or things are messed up afterwards and it is a stressful time - please pray for their safety), 5) that יהוה would come into his life and lead the way, that Christopher would hear our Father more profoundly, that Christopher would answer with quickness, for strength, and for a wife, 6) For Chris to have strength and not get annoyed by things officers are doing to bother him, and 7) for Chris' three children Delicia, Christian, and Kiara for their salvation and well-being.
Scott L.	Scott requests prayers for 1) his daughter Nicole to marry the right man and that she would submit to his authority in helping her to make sure she marries the right person that Scott believes the heavenly Father desires her to marry and for her to repent and re-establish ties with the family, 2) comfort for Scott as he is grieving the loss of his mother, and 3) his brother Daniel to believe, repent, and be immersed in the Name of יהושע.
Scott R.	Scott's requests prayer for 1) Comfort after losing his father who passed and it has been really hard on him, 2) his safety and peace of mind, 3) healing for his prostate, 4) his family and that he doesn't die in prison, and 5) his sister Joni who had surgery to put in a pacemaker and defibulator and she is only 39 years old.
Guadalupe L.	Pray for brother Guadalupe who is 74 and is a brother in prison to not have any more strokes and be healed of his A-Fib. Also, he has five children - Pray for his children and grandchildren that they keep the Sabbath and learn the Scriptures and believe, repent, and be immersed in the Name of יהושע. He is up for parole soon (as of 10/2018). Pray for the commissioners and others on parole board to rule in his favor to be released. Guadalupe's wife of 50 years recently passed away (in early part of 2018). Pray for his comfort and healing. He lost his brother Lewis of 71 years old in 11/2019 and needs comfort and healing from that also. His son Richard in his early 40's had an open heart surgery and needs healing. His daughter Laura in late 40's has a surgery 12/13/2019 and it is fairly serious and she needs prayers for healing.
Stephen Craig Kimberlin #01345531 Unit address removed until unit is stabilized longer-term.	Stephen requests prayers for 1) his mother Nan to be strengthened in her faith and for his little brother B. J., to find יהושע and make the right life decisions so he doesn't keep on ending up back in prison, 2) Stephen is now teaching twice a month for Sabbath services in the prison unit he's in - let's pray יהוה grant Stephen favor in the eyes of the Chaplain, continue to let him guide/lead/teach during Sabbath services, and that יהוה guide Stephen how to conduct services and/or teach others if that is יהוה's will, and 3) for his daughter and mother's relationship to be healed.
Chris Arnold	Chris requests prayers for 1) Both his parents in their late 60's who own a sign shop and it's hard for them to do things like they use to - for his Dad (Kurt) who had his left shoulder replaced which needs healing, had his gallbladder removed 8/29/2018, and also who may be getting Alzheimer's and was in and out of the hospital due to failing kidneys resulting from a medication he was on & Mom (Virginia) who struggles when Kurt goes through these things and with the additional work she has to do due to him starting to have Alzheimer's - for her to be strong and able to care for his Dad - and both of them to have good health and to have their needs taken care of, 2) for favor in court regarding an appeal he made that is pending, that יהוה would open the doors for Chris to go home (he wants another opportunity in the free world), 3) that Chris keep his own eyes on יהוה, to grow closer to יהוה, to know Him, to have the love of יהוה inside of him, 4) for his oldest boy Drake who is in the Army for his protection, and for him to believe, repent, and be immersed in the Name of יהושע and 5) for his youngest son named Daniel who has a heart condition and heart surgery when he was little and still has problems to have good health, guidance, and for him to to believe, repent, and be immersed in the Name of יהושע.
Mario Montenegro	Mario requests prayers for 1) his brother Denis would continue to stay strong, 2) his Mom Maritza to really give herself to יהוה to see everything that He has done for her and all of us, 3) for his sister Raquel and her husband's marriage to be healed, to reconcile, and to not divorce, and 3) that Mario would have a sound mind and a hedge of protection around him to protect him from the enemy because of very hard to understand and explain experiences.
JC G.	JC needs prayers for 1) to be able to get into what's known as the "faith based" dorm in prison (these are usually a little better or safer than normal dorms but only some prisoners get to stay in), 2) for his daughter to do what's right (it's a serious situation I'm not comfortable putting on the website - but just pray for her to do what's right), 3) for his spiritual walk and spiritual and emotional well-being. JC has various struggles and gets down sometimes and he's trying his best, but based on his letter it sounds like he needs to be lifted up in prayer to overcome various struggles, challenges, and stay strong and encouraged spiritually and emotionally. He is asking for blessings so pray for him to receive blessings from יהוה also.
Robert Fort	Robert goes by "Robin" and Robin requests prayers for 1) his wife Donna to re-establish communications with him, and 2) to make parole to get home to family.
Jose Cruz	Jose requests prayer that his mother would get back in contact with him. She was the only one keeping in contact with him and since the coronavirus started she has not been in contact with him.
