By default, therefore we consider this to be the 1st Biblical Month of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blow the Shofar! The 1st New Moon has been sighted! Rosh Chodesh Sameach!! Happy New Moon Day and Head of the Year!! It\u2019s the month of HaAviyv (The Green Grain) (aka HaAbib\/Abib)!
