However, this year I am swamped\/busy and never got around to that &#8211; my apologies.  But my personal convictions are that this is the first month of HaAviyv and my belief is if Barley were grown \/ growing as it were in ancient times, the barley would be ready in time for the Wave Omer offering if we consider this the first month of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blow the Shofar! The 1st New Moon has been sighted! Rosh Chodesh Sameach!! Happy New Moon Day and Head of the Year!! It\u2019s the month of HaAviyv (The Green Grain) (aka HaAbib\/Abib)!
